 In this record Shankar Ghosh is a young Tabla player who has established himself  as  an artiste of rank shining both as solo player and an accompaniment.  He had the opportunity to perform in many foreign courtiers for which he had to go abroad twice along with Ustad  Ali Akbar Khan.  The improvisations he has made speak of highly intellectual level of the artiste both from the poin of view of rhythm and melody .  The raga has a pentatonic scale without the 3^rd and oth. The 2^nd and the 7^th are flat.
